Strategic Marketing Executive – STEM Education

Make a difference in marketing. Work closely with the national sales group to drive product, strategy and promotion planning.

As Strategic Marketing Executive, you’ll work with products and customers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Social Science Higher Education sector.

This full-time, permanent position is located in South Melbourne, close to public transport and cafes, with gym access. You will be part of a friendly, collaborative, high performing team. Some travel in Australia is required.

In this role you will:
• Drive product planning – develop tactics for product in multiple channels
• Increase sales through development of sales tools, competitor analysis, market information
• Train sales colleagues and implement national strategies to improve sales
• Work collaboratively to plan promotional campaigns and events for market penetration and ROI

About you:
• Tertiary qualifications – preferred in Marketing, Business, Communications, Publishing, Mathematics, Science or Engineering
• Experience fulfilling marketing tactics and/or as a Sales Representative in STEM Education
• Excellent presentation and training skills
• Ability to identify trends and anticipate market changes
• A passion for education and a relentless focus on customers
• Extraordinary problem-solving skills; questioning the status quo and taking calculated risks to meet customers’ needs
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, demonstrating friendly, transparent, and proactive communication

An attractive remuneration package including car allowance and bonus scheme is offered commensurate with experience. This position requires a police check.
